Where it began…
A native of New Zealand, Darin MacDonald has held positions at internationally-recognized hotels in Singapore and Osaka, Japan. He travelled extensively in the Caribbean during his tenure as the premier Piano Bar Entertainer for Carnival Cruise Lines. He currently resides in Southern New Jersey, performing at numerous venues and events throughout the northeast.
Not just a talented musician, Darin is a charming performer who sincerely enjoys the excitement of live entertainment. Darin also expresses his creativity through his original writings and compositions. Whether performing acoustic pop, sultry standards, or high-energy rock-n-roll, Darin’s versatile style has proven to be a crowd-pleaser for a diverse and growing audience.

With exceptional vocals and captivating piano skills, Darin has been heard entertaining piano bar audiences around the globe. The premier Piano Bar Entertainer for Carnival Cruise Lines, Darin has performed for international audiences on the high seas since 2003. Prior to his time with Carnival and in addition to many appearances for New Zealand TV, Darin was the resident pianist and vocalist for world class 5-star destination hotels, including The Ritz Carlton -Osaka, Japan; Goodwood Park Hotel – Singapore; and Harrah’s Sky Casino – New Zealand. Currently Darin can be seen at the world renown New Jersey Shore. Appearing at the Tropicana in Atlantic City, The Windrift Hotel in Avalon and at Congress Hall Hotel in Cape May.
